In order to make your experience as uncomplicated as possible, here is a list of things you should bring to the arrangement conference.

• Pre-planning information, if applicable
• Birth certificate, if possible; if not, the names of the deceased's parents (including the mother's maiden name)
• Social Security number
• Military discharge, usually a DD-214
• 1-3 photographs showing the deceased's hair style and preferred make-up
• Clothing, including undergarments -- shoes are optional
• Cemetery deed, if any
